Job Title: Director, Brand Marketing        

Department: Integrated Marketing & Communications (IMC)                      

Reports to: VP, Integrated Marketing

 

Job Summary

The Director of Brand Marketing at FC Cincinnati leads the strategy and execution of the club's brand, ensuring a consistent, compelling identity across fan touchpoints. This role drives integrated marketing, storytelling, and campaigns that build fandom, fuel revenue, and strengthen FC Cincinnati's connection to the region.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead the development of integrated brand campaigns that drive awareness, fandom, and business objectives including ticket sales and partnership support
  • Oversee seasonal planning, campaign calendars, and go-to-market strategies in partnership with ticketing, digital, and communications teams
  • Manage brand strategy, including maintaining brand standards and ensuring consistency across campaigns, partnerships, content, merchandise, and fan experiences.
  • Led end-to-end merchandise strategy and capsule collection development, overseeing concept creation, creative direction, and go-to-market execution to drive fan engagement, and revenue growth
  • Own grassroots marketing programs including Pub Partners and College Ambassadors; provide marketing support and thought leadership for community, youth and Foundation program.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to translate club priorities into compelling storytelling and fan-first experiences, including the club App and Storyteller platform
  • Guide brand research, insights, and measurement to inform strategy and optimize impact
  • Lead, mentor, and develop marketing coordinator

What You'll Need:

  • 8-10+ years of brand marketing experience, with leadership experience in sports, entertainment, lifestyle, or consumer brands preferred
  • Proven ability to develop and lead brand strategy, integrated campaigns, and storytelling across channels
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and growth
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate brand vision and strategy clearly
  • People management experience and an interest in developing talent
