Hartmann Young is partnered with a high-growth functional food and beverage company developing a category-defining portfolio of products designed to support consumers using GLP-1 medications.


Backed by significant investment and experiencing rapid commercial growth, the business is now looking to hire a Vice President, Product Innovation & Nutrition Science to lead product strategy, scientific innovation, and pipeline development across North America.


You will be responsible for:

• Defining the long-term innovation strategy for a portfolio of GLP-1 focused foods and beverages

• Leading the development of products addressing satiety, muscle preservation, digestive health, nutrient density, and metabolic wellness

• Building and managing high-performing teams across Product Development, Nutrition Science, and Applications

• Identifying emerging ingredient technologies and strategic innovation partnerships

• Working closely with Commercial and Executive Leadership teams to align innovation with growth objectives

• Overseeing product development from concept through commercialisation

• Representing the business externally with key customers, partners, and industry stakeholders


We’re looking for someone who:

• Has 15+ years of food and beverage innovation experience

• Brings expertise across functional ingredients, nutritional products, or medical nutrition

• Has led large-scale innovation pipelines and product commercialisation programs

• Understands the rapidly evolving GLP-1 nutrition landscape

• Has experience building and leading multidisciplinary technical teams

• Combines scientific credibility with strong commercial acumen
