Position Summary

The Senior Vice President, GIK Fulfillment & Logistics is an executive operational leader responsible for the strategy, performance, and continuous improvement of Good360's end-to-end supply chain-encompassing all warehousing and fulfillment operations and third-party transportation activities. This role provides executive oversight of two main direct reports-a Senior Director of Fulfillment and a Senior Director of Logistics-and their respective teams, ensuring the seamless movement of goods-in-kind (GIK) product from donor receipt through final delivery to nonprofit recipients.

The SVP, GIK Fulfillment & Logistics is accountable for operational excellence across Good360's owned and partner warehouse network, carrier relationships spanning truckload (TL), less-than-truckload (LTL), parcel, and intermodal modes, and inventory integrity across all Good360-managed locations. This individual will also play a lead role in technology modernization, including the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or Transportation Management System (TMS), and the development of robust operational reporting and analytics capabilities.

Organizational Context

Good360 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to connecting companies that have goods with nonprofits and people who need them most. The GIK Fulfillment & Logistics function is central to Good360's mission-ensuring that donated product is received, stored, controlled, and distributed efficiently and with full accountability.

Good360's current warehouse footprint includes:

  • Maysville, KY - Leased facility with Good360 employees on-site
  • Omaha, NE - Third-party logistics (3PL) partnership with embedded Good360 staff
  • Nonprofit partner warehouse locations - Where Good360 inventory may be co-housed or co-managed in support of disaster response and recovery activities

The SVP, GIK Fulfillment & Logistics leads the following direct reports:

  • Senior Director of Fulfillment - Responsible for all warehouse operations, inventory management, and inbound/outbound fulfillment activities across the Good360 warehouse network
  • Senior Director of Logistics - Responsible for all transportation activities including carrier management, freight procurement, routing, and compliance across TL, LTL, parcel, and intermodal modes. Current scope is primarily domestic, but international expansion is underway.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following

Strategic Leadership & Operations

  • Set and execute the strategic vision for Good360's supply chain, aligned with organizational goals, funder commitments, and mission impact priorities
  • Provide executive oversight of warehousing and logistics functions, holding direct reports accountable to performance targets, service levels, and operational standards
  • Develop and manage the supply chain operating budget, optimizing cost-per-unit-moved metrics while maintaining service quality and compliance
  • Serve as the internal authority on supply chain best practices and emerging industry trends relevant to nonprofit product philanthropy
  • Partner with the Executive Leadership Team and peer leaders across Donor Programs, IT, and Business Intelligence to align supply chain capacity with organizational demand and strategic initiatives

Warehousing & Fulfillment

  • Oversee all Good360 warehouse locations including leased facilities, 3PL partnerships, and nonprofit partner sites where Good360 inventory is maintained
  • Establish and enforce inventory control standards, diversion controls, and chain-of-custody requirements consistent with Good360's Member Distribution Authorization Agreement (MDAA)
  • Ensure fulfillment operations meet accuracy, throughput, and cycle time standards, with continuous improvement embedded into site management practices
  • Lead supply chain readiness and execution for disaster response and recovery activities, including rapid deployment logistics in partnership with nonprofit partners

Transportation & Logistics

  • Oversee the third-party core carrier program across TL, LTL, parcel, and intermodal modes, including carrier performance management and freight spend optimization
  • Establish freight procurement strategies that balance cost efficiency, service reliability, and donor/recipient relationship requirements
  • Ensure compliance with applicable transportation regulations, carrier contracts, and insurance requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement in on-time performance, freight cost per pallet equivalent (PE), and carrier scorecarding

Technology & Systems Modernization

  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and/or Transportation Management System (TMS), serving as the executive sponsor and internal champion
  • Define system requirements in partnership with IT, Operations, and Business Intelligence; manage vendor relationships and implementation timelines
  • Drive adoption of operational technology across the supply chain team, building digital capability and change management readiness
  • Establish and mature operational reporting, dashboards, and KPIs that provide real-time visibility into supply chain performance for leadership and funders

People & Team Leadership

  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing supply chain talent; foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and mission alignment
  • Coach and develop the Senior Director of Fulfillment and Senior Director of Logistics, supporting their leadership effectiveness and professional growth
  • Build organizational capacity and succession depth across the supply chain function
  • Model Good360's values and commitment to equity, integrity, and stewardship in all operational decisions

Stakeholder & Partner Engagement

  • Serve as the operational relationship owner for 3PL partners, core carriers, and nonprofit warehouse partners
  • Collaborate with Donor Programs to align receiving and fulfillment capacity with product donation pipelines and donor expectations
  • Represent supply chain operations in funder reporting, board updates, and partner communications as needed

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required
  • Master's degree (MBA or MS in Supply Chain/Operations) strongly preferred
  • APICS CSCP, CSCMP, or equivalent professional certification a plus

Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of progressive supply chain, logistics, and/or warehouse operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role with multi-site or enterprise-level scope
  • Demonstrated experience managing both warehousing/fulfillment and transportation/logistics functions, ideally simultaneously
  • Proven track record leading or overseeing WMS and/or TMS implementations from evaluation through go-live
  • Experience managing 3PL relationships and a mixed carrier portfolio (TL, LTL, parcel, intermodal)
  • Background in nonprofit operations, product philanthropy, disaster logistics, or mission-driven organizations strongly preferred; equivalent experience in high-complexity B2B or humanitarian supply chains considered
  • Experience building and scaling operational reporting and analytics capabilities

Skills & Competencies

  • Executive presence and the ability to represent supply chain operations credibly to organizational leadership, funders, and external partners
  • Strong analytical and financial acumen; ability to build and manage supply chain budgets and interpret operational data
  • Deep knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and freight transportation across multiple modes, domestic and international
  • Systems fluency and comfort leading technology change; experience with WMS, TMS, and ERP platforms
  • Exceptional people leadership skills with demonstrated success developing senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management and organizational discipline; ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and partners

Travel Requirements

  • Regular travel required to Good360 warehouse locations (Maysville, KY and Omaha, NE), partner sites, and industry events; estimated 25-35% travel.

Salary Range
Salary commiserate with experience, plus annual bonus potential tied to goal achievement and overall individual and organizational performance
