The Vice President, Sales Support will oversee pricing consistency across divisions, large client pricing strategies, large project oversight, and field execution strategies. This role will also support the corporate operations department & Derse divisions to improve customer satisfaction, quality, and production efficiency. This is a crucial and strategic role, designed to aid Derse in ongoing success within the Experiential Marketing industry. The Vice President, Sales Support must reside within our Milwaukee office, and has potential for extensive travel. Read through and apply if this sounds like the opportunity for you!  


Vice President, Sales Support Responsibilities

  • Assist divisions and Corporate in preparing major RFP responses, including development of pricing templates, service level agreements (SLAs), escalators, and volume incentives.
  • Work with DVP's and Corporate to ensure all approved pricing for new clients is accurately entered into the company systems.
  • Support DVPs with rebate programs and related initiatives.
  • Partner with the EVP to analyze and validate pricing structures and formulas within estimating templates.
  • Build and maintain a database of competitor pricing models to strengthen competitive positioning and support business development efforts.
  • Support divisions with complex or large-scale projects by providing estimating assistance / oversight, project management consultation, and field service support as needed.
  • Review estimates for large-scale projects to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Estimating Managers to ensure established standards, protocols, and best practices are clearly communicated and consistently followed.
  • Develop and conduct annual reviews of pricing models for Rentals, Portables, and other corporate departments with standardized pricing or asset-based accounts.
  • Oversee the Field Service Department and on-site service desk operations.
  • Support and/or lead onboarding and transition processes for large clients.
  • Provide interim leadership by backfilling Divisional Vice President or Director of Operations roles as needed.
  • Manage direct reports which includes: assignment and monitoring of work, adherence to company policy and procedures (including attendance), approving time off, training, conducting performance reviews timely and providing necessary mentoring and coaching. 
  • Supervises assigned divisional personnel on a temporary basis. 
  • Must be able to effectively lead, delegate, monitor progress, and hold people accountable for results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years related industry experience; or minimum of ten years related exhibit industry experience in a senior management role and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrate progressive leadership.
  • Previous background in overseeing production-oriented operations in a custom build environment.
  • Strong working knowledge/understanding of financial systems.
  • Be well organized and a good communicator.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel and support business climate. Travel is considered moderate to extensive.
