Vice President, Client Coverage - Global Client Management, Investment Managers
At BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees' growth and success. As a leading global financial services company at the heart of the global financial system, we influence nearly 20% of the world's investible assets. We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Global Client Management, to join our Investment Management team. This role is based in New York.
Global Client Management is a Commercial Team, where we manage existing and prospective client relationships with the goals of ensuring client satisfaction and growing their business with BNY. We advise clients on the best way to achieve their strategic objectives through a solutions-oriented approach, and collaborate with partners across BNY to support the delivery of a seamless client experience.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Executive engagement - Partner with senior leadership to shape engagement with top Investment Management clients - aligning commercial strategy across regions and global platforms.
  • Market insights - Bring the market to life - turn client and segment insights into sharp points of view, targeted go-to-market actions, and new growth opportunities.
  • Pipeline management - Create momentum through disciplined pipeline management - maintain forecasting accuracy, track conversion, and surface risks and dependencies early to accelerate outcomes.
  • Solution delivery - Partner with product, coverage, and regional teams to build tailored proposals and solutions - positioned clearly, differentiated, and aligned to client priorities and operating models.
  • Stakeholder management - Strengthen senior stakeholder relationships through clear, client-ready communications and timely updates that remove blockers and keep delivery on track.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Financial services experience - 5-7 years' experience in financial services - ideally across sales, business development, or client management.
  • Strategic judgment - Strategic, structured thinking - able to assess segments, geographies, and client needs, then turn insight into executable sales actions (including senior talking points and proactive risk management).
  • Commercial leadership - Commercial drive and executive presence - able to grow relationships, progress deals, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Executive communication - Advanced analytical and storytelling skills - able to synthesize complexity into clear, senior-ready messages that influence decisions.
  • Stakeholder management - Relationship-builder across cultures and functions - able to earn trust quickly and expand commercial impact in a global environment.
  • Ownership and resilience - High ownership and resilience - able to prioritize under pressure, deliver to tight timelines, and consistently hit targets.
