Responsibilities

Heritage Home Health and Hospice Volunteers work with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals in the patient's residence. The Volunteer follows agency, state, and federal policies and procedures.

Volunteers must meet the following requirements:

  • Be 18 years of age
  • General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn industry-specific software and documentation applications
  • Possess a valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance
  • Safely and professionally assists patients/clients according to regulatory standards
