Job description

Position Summary:

Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines to cut, rip, match, glue and inspect surface lumber to Routing specifications to achieve maximum yield.  To remove all defects using woodworking machinery.

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • No experience necessary.   
  • Ability to set up & operate multiple machines after 90 days training. 
  • Ability to read standard routing sheets after 90 days training. 
  • Basic math with an emphasis on fractions and conversions.
  • Understanding of lumber species and grade specifications to achieve maximum yield after 90 days training.
