Volunteer Soldering Jobs (NOW HIRING)

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Pay: $20-$21/Hour (Based on Experience)

We are looking for a skilled Solderer to join a growing manufacturing team specializing in cable assemblies and electronic components. This is a great opportunity for someone with soldering and assembly experience who wants a stable weekday schedule, hands-on work, and the chance to collaborate with engineering and quality teams in a fast-paced production environment.

• Assemble and solder cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and electronic components.
• Read and follow blueprints, schematics, assembly drawings, and work instructions.
• Repair and rework damaged or returned assemblies.
• Troubleshoot assembly and product issues alongside Engineering and Quality teams.
• Perform crimping, connector assembly, wire preparation, and related assembly tasks.
• Verify assembly procedures and recommend process improvements.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.
• Train and support team members on proper assembly and soldering techniques when needed.
• Follow quality standards and safety procedures to ensure reliable, high-quality products.

• 1-2 years of soldering experience in manufacturing, electronics, cable assembly, or wire harness environments.
• Experience assembling electronic or mechanical components.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Experience using hand tools, including:
  • Soldering irons
  • Wire strippers
  • Crimpers
  • Cutters
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

• J-STD-001 Certification (preferred, not required).
• Experience with cable assemblies and wire harness manufacturing.
• Experience troubleshooting assembly or product failures.
• Previous experience training or mentoring assemblers/operators.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Palm Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
