Our client seeks a Software Engineer – Specialist to design, develop, and implement software solutions that support business processes and improve the guest experience. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design scalable solutions, develop applications across web and mobile, and deliver effective outcomes. The position includes participation across the software development lifecycle, a focus on accessibility and quality, and contributions to documentation and basic DevOps practices.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Participate in code reviews to improve practices and quality.
  • Collaborate to design, develop, test, and maintain web and mobile applications.
  • Partner with design and QA to implement accessibility best practices including screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigation, and high-contrast interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including user manuals and technical guides.
  • Support basic DevOps tasks such as deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and application monitoring.
  • Pursue ongoing professional development through training, reading, conferences, and professional organizations.
Experience Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Proficiency in one or more: C#, React, Node.js, SQL, Python.
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies including unit, integration, and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality software delivery.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of software design principles and architectural patterns.
  • Preferred: React Native and mobile development for iOS and Android.
  • Preferred: Microsoft Azure Cloud services.
  • Preferred: Experience with NoSQL databases.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Preferred: Experience using APIs from leading LLM providers and integrating LLMs into applications.
