Volunteer activities available...
  • Sitting with patients to provide companionship, play games, and offer a friendly, comforting presence.
  • Assisting in light household chores and errands.
  • Calling patients and their families to check on needs.
  • Making blankets, quilts, pillows, and crafts for our patients.
  • Providing support to our bereaved families by assisting with mailings, phone calls and in-home grief support visits.
  • And so much more!
  • This is an unpaid, volunteer position.

Qualifications:
  • Availability of time and skills which pertain to the volunteer activity
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently and take directions well.
  • Empathetic listening skills
  • Ability to understand and tolerate hardship stories.
