Job description

Role: Marketing Specialist
Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Department: Marketing
About GAINS
GAINS is on a mission to make supply chains smarter, faster, and self-improving, powered by AI. Our Decision Engineering & Orchestration (DEO) platform doesn't just support decisions, it drives them by aligning strategy, planning, and execution across every level of the supply chain. We serve inventory-intensive industries where the stakes are high and the complexity is real, helping customers move from reactive, spreadsheet-driven planning to continuously learning, AI-led operations that deliver measurable results fast. At GAINS, we call it Moving Forward Faster, and it's not a tagline, it's how we're redefining what's possible in supply chain decision-making.
About the Role
The Marketing Operations Manager owns the systems, tools, and reporting infrastructure that GAINS marketing runs on. This person manages HubSpot and the broader marketing tech stack, works in Salesforce to keep marketing data and lead flow clean, runs paid search campaigns, builds and optimizes landing pages, and builds the reporting and dashboards that the team uses to measure performance. This role suits someone who is comfortable owning both the strategic and hands-on sides of marketing operations - evaluating and connecting systems, staying current on new tools and technologies (including AI), and translating data into clear, actionable reporting.
What You'll Do
  • Own and administer the marketing tech stack, primarily HubSpot - including workflows, email sends and marketing automation, list segmentation, lead routing, and troubleshooting
  • Work within Salesforce and across marketing systems to keep data clean and ensure smooth lead handoff to sales
  • Build and optimize landing pages and campaign forms
  • Own marketing KPI reporting and dashboards - including performance against our ideal customer profile (ICP), campaign tracking fundamentals like UTMs, and surfacing engagement trends the team can act on
  • Experiment with new channels and technologies to reach our ICP more effectively
  • Evaluate the marketing tech stack on an ongoing basis - recommending where to add or streamline tools, leveraging AI where it helps, and managing vendor relationships
  • Support third-party demand-gen vendor coordination and track marketing spend across systems and vendors, flagging anything that looks off or underused
  • Partner with RevOps and Sales Operations to keep data definitions and reporting consistent across systems
  • Document and refine marketing processes so the team operates consistently

What We're Looking For
  • Strong hands-on experience administering HubSpot; working knowledge of Salesforce (not administration)
  • Experience managing Google Ads campaigns
  • Comfort building and optimizing landing pages and campaign forms
  • Experience building marketing automation workflows and email programs in HubSpot (or similar platforms)
  • Comfort analyzing engagement data against ICP/target account criteria and translating it into recommendations the team can act on
  • A genuinely experimental mindset - someone who wants to test new channels and technology rather than just running the existing playbook
  • A track record of building reporting and dashboards that stakeholders actually use
  • Genuine curiosity about marketing technology - someone who stays current on new tools, is comfortable evaluating and adopting new systems (including AI-driven tools), and knows when to simplify or consolidate rather than add
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with sales/RevOps
  • Comfortable moving between strategic systems thinking and hands-on execution

What You'll Gain
  • Ownership of the systems and data infrastructure that directly shape how marketing measures and reports its impact
  • Direct exposure to how marketing operations connects to pipeline and revenue outcomes across the business
  • A collaborative, low-bureaucracy culture where process improvements are implemented quickly
  • A comprehensive benefits package including health coverage, generous PTO, and professional development

Why GAINS
  • Recognized by Gartner in the Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning Solutions and awarded the 2025 AI/ML-powered Supply Chain Planning Technology Innovation Leadership Award
  • Aggressive growth; GAINS is on a fast trajectory and our team is mission-critical to our success
  • A mission that matters: helping global supply chains become safer, greener, and more resilient
  • Flexible work environment with a collaborative, inclusive team culture
  • Social impact programs, volunteer opportunities, and a commitment to sustainability
