Key Obsessions:   

  • Integration and Interoperability
    • Make various systems, applications and platforms work together seamlessly and effortlessly with Aagard equipment.
    • Ensure that different software components, hardware, and networks can communicate and work together.
    • Assess overall architecture of systems to ensure that integration points are well-designed and functional.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system architecture, integration processes, and data flows
  • Effectively use middleware technologies and APIs to facilitate communication between diverse platforms.
    • Testing and Validation
    • Perform thorough testing, ensuring integrated systems function as intended, without conflicts or issues.
    • Support system deployments, installations, and upgrades, verifying integration touchpoints interface as expected.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.
    • Support Customer Needs
      • Engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, present integration solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
      • Train internal and external customers on integrated technologies.
      • Gather feedback to refine and enhance the overall solution.
      • Provide support for field issues, system updates, and related troubleshooting.

     Knowledge and Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    • Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, middleware solutions, and communication protocols, including experience with RESTful services and message queuing systems.
    • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python, with a sold foundation in software development best practices.
    • Experience with database technologies such as SQL.
    • Experience with Microsoft products including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
    • Willing to travel up to 30%, additional compensation for road pay and required to possess or secure a valid passport (with costs reimbursed by Aagard).
