The Impact You Will Have

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota is hiring a Business Integration Analyst to support claims operations automation in Eagan, MN. In this role, you willbe responsible forthe analysis, development, support, and coordination of business workflow automation tools to maximize transactional capacity at the enterprise level. You will partner withclaimsoperations stakeholders toidentify, design, build, test, and refine automation solutions.Additionalresponsibilities include operational scenario definition, as well as data collection and analysis of workflow simulations to inform automation and reporting metrics.

The ideal candidate brings proven experience developing and implementing automation scripts and is comfortable owning solutions end-to-end. This individual can translate business needs into actionable requirements and independently build scripting-based automations (e.g., Java, C#, or similar) to streamline operational work. Success in this role requires the ability to connect workflow insights to practical scripting execution and drive measurable efficiency improvements. Experience withAutoHotkeyis strongly preferred.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participateonbusiness projects or workgroups tomaintainbusiness solutions: including business automation, increasedefficienciesand data repositories.

  • Analyzes operational data,proceduresand business needs tomaintainsystem solutions.

  • Performs scripting, coding, creation of decision tables and workflow automation within assigned tools or applications such as: Super Op, Pega, ISYL, IT2B-BEM,Accessetc.

  • Follows documented methods and models to support solutions including deployment and execution of test plans within an application.

  • Partner with stakeholders to follow documented change management processes for the purposes of maintenance and assigned deliverables to achieve efficiencies.

  • Partners with Information Technology organization tomaintaindeliverables for system integration, dataintegrityand security.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelorsdegree in business or related field or 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 3years experiencein health insurance process improvement and/or IT experience.

  • Proven experience with business workflow automation technology, application design, data/business analysis.

  • Team player with strong collaboration skills to partner with business and IT on system/automation solutions.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to express complex business concepts inclearand concise manner.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and cross functional facilitation abilities.

  • Ability tocomprehendhigh level concepts, and then drill down concepts to actionable, granular level detail.

  • Strong business background and technical aptitude to bridgeinterpretationgap between business needs and technical solutions.

  • Proven ability to manage a variety of concurrentassignment.

  • Strong personal computing skills with emphasis on Word, VISIO and/or Access and Excel.

  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with business workflow automation technology, application design, databasedesignand data analysis knowledge.

  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, Visual basic, HTML and tools such as SAS and Cognos.

  • Experience withAutoHotKeyor other robotic process automation tools.

  • Experience withdevelopmentof formal business processes and rule methodologies.

  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and logic skills to create business requirements and develop rule statements, decision tables, and other rule automation events.

We come together in the office two days each week - most teams designate at least one anchor day to ensure team interaction. These in-person moments foster relationships, creativity, and alignment. Compensation and Benefits$68,900.00 - $91,300.00 - $113,700.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
