Summary of Role:

The Design Operations/Project coordinator will be the operational backbone for Iconic Modern’s Interior Design business while also assisting with staging design support as needed. You'll sit at the center of the client relationship, finance, warehouse operations, and sales, making sure procurement, scheduling, and invoicing all move in sync and the financial details stay clean. You will build processes the allow the Iconic Modern interior design business to run efficiently and keep scaling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Be a key client point of contact for all matters related to invoicing, product procurement, scheduling, etc.
  • Support design team in keeping studio designer, brex and tipalti up to date
  • Be main cross-functional point of contact between finance, warehouse operations and sales to ensure projects get executed correctly, on time and with accurate financial information
  • Support the design team with product procurement (finding alternative suppliers, suggesting pieces based on a design vision, coordinating delivery/pickups with vendors, etc.)
  • Work with Creative Director to manage designer workload and serve as a “release valve” where possible
  • Support the design team on any client deliverables
  • Support the design team on project installs as needed
  • Establish and document processes that will improve the overall efficiency and organization of the iconic modern design team

Requirements

  • 3+ years in Design ops, project management, office administration or similar roles
  • Ability to work out Bridgeport CT Office/Warehouse
