Job description

What Drives Success
The Fleet GPS Coordinator is responsible for managing and optimizing the GPS tracking systems for the company's fleet of vehicles. This role ensures accurate monitoring of vehicle locations, driver behavior, route efficiency, and compliance with company policies. The coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for GPS-related issues, system updates, and reporting.
  • Maintain and configure GPS tracking devices across all fleet vehicles.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
  • Coordinate with vendors for installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
  • Track and analyze fleet movement, route efficiency, idle times, and driver behavior.
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management on fleet utilization and compliance.
  • Ensure GPS data supports compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Provide training to drivers and staff on GPS system usage and best practices.
  • Collaborate with operations and fleet teams to optimize routing and reduce fuel consumption.

What We Are Looking For
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, IT, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years in fleet management, logistics, or GPS system administration.
  • Familiarity with telematics and fleet tracking software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in GPS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried non-exempt role. This means that employees are paid a salary and also receive overtime pay when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law). The starting salary range for this role and market is between $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
Employees in this role are also eligible for abonus in accordance with the terms of the Company's applicable plan.
Benefits: Subject to applicable eligibility requirements, the following benefits are offered for this role: tuition reimbursement; medical, dental, and vision insurance; prescription drug coverage; 401(k) retirement plan; short-term disability insurance; 8 weeks paid birthing leave; 2 weeks paid bonding leave; life and long-term disability insurance.
Depending on date of hire, and subject to applicable eligibility requirements, new employees in this role also receive up to: 12 days paid time off, 2 paid well-being days, 1 paid volunteer day, 12 paid holidays, and 3 floating holidays per year.
