POSITION OVERVIEW


As part of BDC's digital transformation, we are seeking candidates who are passionate about innovation and eager to contribute to the development of financing services and other offerings delivered through our digital channels.

CHALLENGES TO BE MET


We are looking for a Technology Specialist to play a key role in managing and evolving critical application integration platforms. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise and act as a central point of collaboration between multiple teams (IT, architecture, cybersecurity, and client teams).

  • Manage, operate, and evolve various application integration platforms
  • Contribute to platform stability, performance, availability, and security
  • Collaborate with architecture and cybersecurity teams
  • Participate in requirements analysis and resolution of complex incidents
  • Provide high-level technical support to client teams
  • Work closely with internal teams (development, infrastructure, security, operations)
  • Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing
  • Maintain relationships with vendors and participate in regular meetings as needed
  • Actively contribute to operations and provide on-call support (24/7)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

  • Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software development, and application support
  • Proficiency with integration tools: Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub
  • Strong understanding of application architectures and integration platforms
  • Advanced automation skills (PowerShell, YAML)
  • Experience with containerization and cloud services (Docker, Kubernetes, Tanzu)
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices

Professional Skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Strong documentation skills (Confluence, ServiceNow)
  • Bilingualism (French and English) required
