Schedule: Monday 5:00 PM - Friday 8:00 AM
Territory: King County and Pierce County, Washington


Compensation: $105,000-$120,000 annually, DOE

Key Responsibilities

This afterhours hospice RN role provides autonomous, highimpact clinical care to patients and families facing advanced illness.

  • Deliver afterhours hospice nursing visits, urgent care interventions, and skilled assessments

  • Manage triage calls, determine needed interventions, and complete inperson visits as required

  • Provide pain and symptom management in accordance with hospice standards of care

  • Educate patients and families on hospice philosophy, medications, and care expectations

  • Document all assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently

  • Communicate promptly with the interdisciplinary hospice team (IDT) to ensure continuity of care

  • Participate in QAPI and quality improvement initiatives

  • Must be able to work in both King and Pierce Counties

Qualifications

  • Current Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license

  • Hospice agency experience required or the ability to train full day times until independent

  • Current AHA BLS certification

  • Strong clinical assessment and independent decisionmaking skills

  • Ability to work autonomously during evening, night, and earlymorning hours

  • Reliable, insured vehicle and valid driver's license
