Legacy Healing is searching for a VOB Specialist who is empathic, compassionate, energetic, has a strong work ethic, can multi task, who truly cares and who is passionate addiction professional. We are currently beginning the talent search and vetting process. Must be very organized and an incredible multi-tasker.

He/she works with our Utilization Review team on daily tasks in the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Verifying eligibility and benefits for prospective clients
  • Following up on authorizations obtained
  • Preparing documents for meetings, staff and clients
  • Scanning, faxing, filling and mailing medical records

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Two years (2) of experience in an Administrative role
  • Chemical Dependency experience
  • Insurance Verification experience is a must
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
  • Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
  • Compassionate with team working skills
  • Must be proficient in Kipu
