Position: Regular Network Engineer (VMware)
Remote

Project Description:
You will be working with network fundamentals (ie, LAN/WAN) within a collaborative team . You will be in an invironment of multi/tasking and sense of urgency whilst being detailed oriented. We are looking for someone with excellent organization skills as well as great written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Design and build the network infrastructure projects and technology initiatives based on the customer or business requirements
• Perform all phases of network engineering including requirements analysis, network design, and implementation
• Lead network migrations, remediations, and integrations
• Participate in reviewing and approval of proposed network design and changes and ensuring they are aligned to network standards
• Work with Project Management/Design Teams to translate initial scope into actionable items
• Review designs and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and produce solutions as required
• Develop Bill of Materials (BOM) and participate in the decision making for the acquisition of current/new technologies for the customer network environment
• Develop reusable designs and encourage innovation that will enable team velocity
• Explore emerging technologies
