Job Description We are seeking an Internal Cloud Virtualization Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in VMware vSphere/ESXi, VM lifecycle management, Linux workloads, and automation tooling and a proven ability to design, build, and operate resilient, high-availability virtualization platforms supporting production workloads. Responsibilities: Design, build, and operate virtualization platforms that underpin the Internal Cloud compute layer. Ensure day-to-day performance, availability, and resiliency of VM-based production workloads. Execute platform changes, patching, and remediation activities using standardized procedures. Configure and maintain virtualization clusters, including VMware ESXi and vSAN components. Troubleshoot incidents and support workload onboarding to the Internal Cloud. Leverage automation tools and templates to drive consistent and reliable operations. Required Skills & Qualifications: Primary skill: VMware ESXi. Secondary skill: VMware vSAN. Tertiary skill: Networking. 5-7 years of hands-on experience operating enterprise virtualization platforms. Strong expertise in VMware vSphere/ESXi, VM lifecycle management, and Linux workloads. Experience supporting high-availability, performance-sensitive, 24x7 environments. Working knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and scripting applied to virtualization. Preferred Skills: VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent certification. 5-7+ years supporting large-scale VM or private cloud environments.
