ClifyX is seeking a VMWare Engineer to support their operations in a large enterprise environment. This role involves maintaining the VMware and Infrastructure environment, ensuring service availability, and managing virtual development environments.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain BAU support of the VMware and Infrastructure environment
• Understanding of installation of physical hardware
• Experience researching and implementing methods of migrating business-critical virtual applications with no business downtime
• Strong skills in the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availability
• Experience in the monitoring and management of medium to large scale virtual development environments (min 40K users)
Qualifications:
Required:
• VMWare Certified required
• Must be VMware certified, at VCA, VCP or VCAP level.
• Minimum 3-4 years' experience supporting operational environments
• Maintain BAU support of the VMware and Infrastructure environment
• Understanding of installation of physical hardware
• Experience researching and implementing methods of migrating business-critical virtual applications with no business downtime
• Strong skills in the investigation, diagnosis and resolution of technical issues affecting service availability
• Experience in the monitoring and management of medium to large scale virtual development environments (min 40K users)
• Must have large enterprise experience
• Experience working in environment with 200+ servers and 40,000 users
• Should have Dell hardware experience
