Job description

NOTE: This is a full-time position and will be on-site 5 days a week at our corporate office in Franklin, TN. Remote or hybrid options will not be offered.
Position Summary: The Network Systems Administrator ensures confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems in a manner consistent with Fourteen Foods' mission and core values. Assists the Network Security Engineer in maintaining Fourteen Foods' network and network security infrastructure. Assists the Applications and Operational Platform Support Analysts in evaluating, deploying, and maintaining network applications, operating systems, and Fourteen Foods' intranet in accordance with the organization's security and change management policies. Collaborates with the Infrastructure and Executive teams in maintaining and supporting the organization's Virtual Infrastructure, SAN storage system, and Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange environments. Provides and assists with the troubleshooting of local PC desktop applications, telephony systems including VOIP devices and associated telephony applications, cellular phone and portable electronic devices, hardware, and peripherals. Participates in planning and executing disaster recovery plan tests as member of the Technical Recovery team.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or other IT-related degree or equivalent work experience may substitute, especially if combined with certifications, such as the Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid administrator disciplines, Power Platform disciplines, and/or Microsoft 365 Specialties.
  • 4+ years related experience preferred with administering network servers and associated applications.
  • Awareness of Information Technology Security practices and methods.
  • Experience in deploying and maintaining VOIP telephone systems (i.e. Cisco, ShoreTel, Mitel, Avaya).
  • Proven Knowledge and experience managing Windows PC's, Servers, and providing mobile workstation/device support in a multiprotocol environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn to support new networking hardware and software.
  • Prefer prior experience in administration of LAN and WAN environments, various Windows Server Operating System versions, MS SQL, and MS Exchange Server and application support.
  • Ability to quickly identify technology related issues, determine the root cause, identify solutions, and implement fixes quickly and effectively for complex and abstract issues.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate complex information in a clear, concise, and professional manner to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Ability to demonstrate a high degree of integrity and ability to always maintain confidentiality of information and job-related data.
  • Excellent service skills in supporting and communicating with end-users, ability to do detailed documentation in clear and precise language, and the ability to quickly research solutions to problems.
  • Understanding of PCI and how it applies to the restaurant industry.
  • Interpersonal skills: such as telephony skills, communication skills, active listening, and customer-care.
  • Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
  • Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
  • Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-moving environment.
  • Ability to make decisions in matter of significance.
  • Experience with vendor interfacing and/or management.
  • Experience with incident ticket tracking systems and ITIL v4 framework.
  • Demonstratable experience in troubleshooting, repair and provisioning IT hardware.
  • Experience in working with geographically disbursed remote users and offices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft tools, asset tracking systems, and purchasing platforms.
  • Security and PCI experience a plus.
  • Information Technology Project Management experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Fortinet/Cisco Network Systems deployment and administration is a plus, but not required.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • There is an expectation that in the event of any network system or appliance issue(s), the incumbent will be available, with reasonable expectations, to respond to the issue(s) 24/7/365 to expedite the issue resolution.
  • There is an expectation of an IT scheduled rotational "on-call" role due to the requirements of this position.
