Requirements:

VMG Health is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the team! The role of the Senior Analyst contributes to the success of the firm by providing support on a variety of healthcare engagements.


The primary responsibilities of the Senior Analyst will be data collection, client financial analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, report writing, and supporting team leaders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Gather information and data such as financial statements, earnings reports, contracts, operational reports and any other data or information required to thoroughly provide the contracted product to the client.
  • Construct and take ownership of complex financial models.
  • Perform various financial analyses, financial models, due diligence and report writing. Review own work, and that of colleagues, to ensure excellence of deliverables.
  • Participate in meetings and site visits as determined by leaders.
  • Continually inform relevant colleagues of progress and notify running on schedule by assessing the data upon receipt to determine if adequate and usable. Quickly communicate with the client as needed, demonstrating proactiveness and responsiveness.
  • Keep projects and deliverables on time and schedule established with the client. Immediately inform leader if circumstances arise to impede or jeopardize timelines.
  • Show initiative to become a thought leader within the industry by helping author content.
  • Complete administrative functions, mandatory training, and other internal responsibilities, in a timely manner.
  • Remain flexible and adaptable in work schedule and assignment as defined by departmental and company need.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a positive work environment.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Financial Analyst within a business valuation firm.
  • Actively pursue continuing education and professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analysis (CFA), National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts (NACVA), American Society of Appraisers (ASA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
  • Proficiency in financial management tools and software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • HRSA experience preferred.


KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, tailoring to audience, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial theory.
  • Financial modeling experience.
