Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a part-time school-based opportunity in Wauconda, Illinois. This position is ideal for an SLP who enjoys working with students in an educational setting and helping them develop the communication skills necessary for academic and social success.

Position Details

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Wauconda, IL
Employer: Sunbelt Staffing
Schedule: 20 Hours Per Week

Caseload Information

  • Part-time school-based caseload
  • Provide speech and language services to students receiving special education support
  • Conduct evaluations, assessments, and screenings as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders
  • Develop individualized therapy goals and treatment plans
  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed

Qualifications

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist License required
