Viva Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote position, committed to serving the unique needs of students within a school setting in San Francisco, California. This position is fully remote, providing you with the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging directly with students and school staff. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Viva Wellness Center, you will:

• Work directly with students in a school environment to address symptoms of major mental illness and severe emotional disorders through individual and group therapy.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the needs and risks of your clients, developing tailored care plans that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
• Implement evidence-based interventions and therapeutic techniques, ensuring they are developmentally appropriate and culturally competent.
• Engage in crisis intervention, providing critical and timely support in high-stress situations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and resources for clients, maintaining communication with families and educational staff.
• Document and monitor client progress, ensuring compliance with treatment protocols and organizational standards.
• Participate in organizational quality improvement initiatives, contributing your expertise to enhance service delivery.
• Provide on-call coverage during and after program hours as assigned to support clients in crises.

This position focuses on serving school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. By addressing the mental health needs of this demographic, the LCSW plays a critical role in supporting students' academic performance and overall life satisfaction, thereby contributing to healthier families and communities.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.
• A thorough understanding of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for diverse populations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Expertise in risk assessment and crisis management.

While a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we welcome applicants who possess a strong passion for working with under-served populations and who are motivated to grow in their roles. Experience within educational settings or with a similar client demographic will be considered an asset.
