Job description

Role Overview:
The Project Manager / Product Owner for Ethos Final Expense is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery and evolution of digital life insurance products within a fast-paced insurtech ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Define and own the product vision, roadmap, and backlog for Final Expense offerings
  • Lead end-to-end product development, including policy structure, underwriting rules, and feature enhancements
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, UX/design teams, carrier partners, and underwriting and compliance teams
  • Drive customer journey optimization

Required Skills:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in Product Management / Product Ownership or Project Management
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance lifecycle
  • Experience with Final Expense / Simplified Issue products and digital life insurance platforms

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with platforms such as Guidewire, FAST, Vitech, CyberLife
  • Knowledge of third-party data integrations and digital underwriting and rules engines
