Purpose

As an Operations Marketing Manager at Toronto Pearson International Airport, you will be leading and coordinating promotional campaigns, managing visual merchandising, overseeing various marketing operations, and handling budget management. Budget Management

  • Manage marketing and digital budgets for operations where applicable.
  • Monitor costs and adhere to budgets with airports' Marketing & Innovation Fund.
  • Create programs with global brands for specific airports opportunities and external stakeholders.

Promotion Coordination & Organization

  • Lead the coordination of promotion communication and align global promotions with local needs.
  • Release promotional bulletins and manage event campaigns effectively.
  • Organize and oversee self-funded and HPP events from conceptualization to execution.
  • Collaborate with airport partners for the setup of pop-up stores and outposts.
  • Supervise the implementation of GWP communication.

Visual Merchandising & Shop Maintenance

  • Oversee the production and installation of brand logos and visuals.

  • Source and manage holders for shelf talkers and perfume blotters.
  • Ensure consistent branding and visual standards across all store locations.
  • Support the visual merchandising for new collections, sales, and price campaigns.
  • Provide detailed reports on promotional and visual merchandising activities.
  • Update displays for new product launches and seasonal themes.
  • Create visually appealing displays to enhance customer experience.
  • Ensure correct and updated visuals and logos in stores with brands.
  • Measure signage requirements and manage ordering.
  • Capture content/photos of HPPs, branded spaces, and marketing initiatives.

Core Operations

  • Design and implement internal branded items, ensuring brand consistency.
  • Implement external campaigns as defined by global marketing, including coordinating print file creation.
  • Manage local PR on airport media tools, defining campaign scopes and artwork.
  • Oversee the procurement and distribution of tasting goods and barcode stickers.
  • Create and manage templates, visuals, flyers, vouchers, brochures, and leaflets for various marketing needs.
  • Coordinate with brands and commercial teams for in-store signage.
  • Propose and execute entertainment, promotions, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate with category management, operations management, brands, and internal/external stakeholders for visual merchandising.
  • Ensure compliance with merchandising guidelines and strategies in all categories of sections.
  • Organize and oversee promotions and advertising campaigns.
  • Coordinate the installation of promotional/activation spaces and in-store campaigns.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Track the implementation and effectiveness of promotions.
  • Compile comprehensive marketing reports summarizing and evaluating marketing activities for your respective location.
  • Prepare comprehensive forecasts and cost projections for upcoming campaigns, product launches, activations and annual marketing plans.
  • Evaluate financial viability of marketing initiatives by comparing projected expenses against expected revenues

Experience/Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
