SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES
Visual Merchandising & Space Design
  • The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for designing and curating physical brand environments that bring LiveTrends collections, trends, and product stories to life.
  • This role creates engaging retail showrooms, customer presentation spaces, trade show environments, photo shoot sets, support sales growth, and strengthen brand identity.
  • The ideal candidate is highly creative, trend-aware, hands-on, and capable of transforming concepts into visually compelling environments that showcase LiveTrends products in innovative and commercially effective ways.

Showroom & Retail Environment Design
  • Design and execute seasonal showroom layouts that effectively communicate LiveTrends collections, product stories, and merchandising strategies.
  • Create visually compelling product presentations that align with seasonal themes, trend forecasts, and customer preferences.
  • Develop retail display concepts that support customer presentations and retailer merchandising initiatives.
  • Curate cohesive visual experiences that highlight product features, color stories, and trend direction.
  • Continuously refresh showroom environments to reflect new collections and business priorities.

Product Styling & Storytelling
  • Style products for showrooms, customer meetings, photography sessions, videos, and special events.
  • Create visual narratives that connect products to lifestyle trends and consumer inspiration.
  • Develop merchandising strategies that maximize product visibility, impact, and sell-through potential.
  • Ensure all displays consistently reflect LiveTrends brand standards and design philosophy.
  • Collaborate with Product Design, Marketing, and Sales teams to communicate collection concepts effectively.

Trade Shows & Events
  • Design and coordinate trade show booths, customer events, and exhibition environments.
  • Plan layouts, product placement, signage, graphics, and experiential elements.
  • Manage setup, installation, teardown, and transportation logistics for displays and events.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all event environments and customer-facing spaces.
  • Support retailer presentations and special merchandising initiatives as needed.

Set Design & Creative Production Support
  • Design and build environments for photography, video production, social media content, and marketing campaigns.
  • Source props, furniture, fixtures, dรฉcor, and supporting materials to enhance visual storytelling.
  • Collaborate with photographers, graphic designers, marketers, and creative teams to execute campaign concepts.
  • Maintain organization and inventory of styling materials, props, and display assets.
  • Ensure all sets align with campaign objectives and seasonal creative direction.

Sourcing & Installation
  • Source materials, fixtures, furnishings, signage, props, and display components within budget.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to merchandising materials and display elements.
  • Construct, install, and maintain merchandising displays and showroom environments.
  • Coordinate deliveries, setup schedules, and project timelines.
  • Troubleshoot installation challenges and implement creative solutions as needed.

Project Management & Collaboration
  • Manage multiple merchandising projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget expectations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product Development, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership teams.
  • Maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Continuously evaluate display effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current on visual merchandising, retail design, consumer trends, and industry best practices.

  • 3+ years of experience in visual merchandising, showroom design, retail design, set design, event merchandising, or related creative field.
  • Experience creating physical retail, showroom, trade show, or branded environments.
  • Demonstrated portfolio showcasing merchandising, styling, retail, or experiential design work.
  • Experience sourcing materials, props, fixtures, and display elements.
  • Ability to independently execute projects from concept through installation.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign ).
  • Experience using presentation and visualization tools such as PowerPoint, SketchUp, Canva, or similar software.
  • Ability to create merchandising plans, floor plans, mood boards, and visual presentations.
  • Knowledge of retail fixtures, display materials, signage, and fabrication methods.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
