Job description

Summary Design, create and publish marketing pieces of various print and digital mediums for the Slater Family Ice Arena. Career Readiness Competencies Seek feedback from supervisors and apply it to improve performance. Analyze problems and propose practical solutions.

Follow instructions, meet deadlines, and deliver quality work. Learn new software or digital platforms as needed for your role. Use technology to organize, track, or present information clearly.

Essential Functions Designing and implementing print materials such as but not limited to; brochures, flyers, posters, etc. Designing and implementing web and social media graphics. Website maintenance.

Clearly communicate desired information to the customer through print/web materials. Monitor and evaluate new tools and trends to keep up with current media for increased patron engagement. Identify areas for improvement and strategize for increasing patron engagement.

Attend events as needed to take photos and video Minimum Qualifications Professional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with customers, internal clients, colleagues, and the general public. Knowledge and proficient ability to use all current Adobe Creative Suite software. Professional, self-motivated and responsible with the ability to act independently, take initiative, and achieve results, often with little direct supervision.

Additional Information This position is comprised of both standard office-type hours and varying hours include evenings and weekends for special events.
