Under the general supervision of the Associate Printing Plant Superintendent (APPS) the Office Technician (Typing) at the advanced journey level provides essential support to the Office of State Publishing (OSP) by performing manual job-cost tracking, data entry, and billing functions needed to onboard new print and mail work. This position ensures accurate time-and-materials cost capture, timely billing within required 30-day timeframes, and continuity of financial workflows during a period of increased production demand and system transition.
This position is Limited Term (12 months); it may become permanent, be extended up to 24 months, or be cancelled at any time.
A valid Typing Certificate is required for this position. Candidates are to submit a copy of their typing certificate with their application. Typing Certificate guidelines can be found here.

You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired.   • The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.
  • Employment History on the STD 678 (State Application) must be complete and include employment dates, accurate hours per week, total time worked, duties and responsibilities performed, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors. License and Certification numbers included on the STD 678 must include issue date and expiration date. Failure to indicate issue and expiration dates will result in disqualification.
