Job Description
We are currently seeking a Training Manager to join our Training team, focused on brand, product, and sales training initiatives. This role will report to the Head of Training and Retail Excellence.
Your opportunity
The Training Manager works directly with the Head of Training and Retail Excellence to support the design, development, and implementation of the brand, product, and sales training strategy for the North America market.
This role supports both clients and internal teams (Sales, Customer Service, After-Sales, and Marketing), delivering brand- and product-led sales training that ensures consistent, engaging, and business-driven learning experiences, elevating luxury selling, technical product knowledge, and client experience.
He/she will identify training needs and execute and deliver comprehensive brand, product, and sales training initiatives across North America, aligned with business objectives and leveraging a blended learning approach (in-person, virtual, and digital).
How you will contribute
Training Strategy
  • Support the planning and execution of the annual training calendar, including ownership of the virtual training cadence informed by prior-year participation and performance data.
  • Own and manage communication related to the annual training calendar and training initiatives.

Content Development & Instructional Design
  • Research and help develop engaging learning solutions using proven instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles.
  • Partner closely with subject matter experts across Sales, Marketing, Product, and After-Sales to develop and maintain high-quality training content.
  • Help keeping training content updated on Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Support the development and facilitate CE-accredited courses via live and virtual formats.

Facilitation & Field Engagement
  • Facilitate seminars, workshops, webinars, onboarding programs, and Sales Events, including multi-client trainings, for Sales teams and clients across North America, using structured training formats and standardized processes.
  • Own and manage the ABO training registration process, including coordination, communication, and follow-up with clients
  • Ensure consistent execution and post-event reporting for all external training initiatives.
  • Lead the evolution of brand and product training within the Sales onboarding journey, in coordination with HR.
  • Maintain a strong field connection through regular Sales and Retail Excellence team shadowing to inform training needs and content.

Project, Budget & Performance Management
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting and tracking of all training activities.
  • Operate with defined office days dedicated to reporting, tracking, and planning, ensuring consistency, reliability, and on-time delivery.
  • Monitor training and travel budgets to ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of training processes, tools, and internal visibility.

Who you are
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a training professional
  • BS in Education, Training, Talent Development, or relevant field
  • Fluent in English (Spanish/French would be a plus)
  • Availability to travel (85%)
  • ABOC certification required
  • Experience working in an optical lab would be ideal
  • Strong presentation / facilitation skills - the candidate should be able to successfully facilitate trainings to any size of audiences
  • Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Excellent organizational / project management / planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods as well as digital training tools
  • Experience in luxury industries
  • Must possess a true passion for elevated service / client experience
  • Focus on results, and ability to achieve goals and meet deadlines without supervision
  • Agility and flexibility to juggle multiple stakeholders at the same time with strong time management skills
  • Strong team player and excellent communicator with entrepreneurship autonomy and problem-solving skills
