Position Overview:


Morlen Health is seeking a Board Certified or Eligible Non-invasive Cardiologist to join the team at the KP Salmon Creek Medical Center in Vancouver, WA.. Regionally, the department currently have 24 cardiologists with members of the group having sub-specialty certification in EP, interventional cardiology, advanced heart failure/transplant, cardiac MRI/CT, and adult congenital heart disease. We are looking for a highly qualified general cardiologist to support the practice in both ambulatory and inpatient care. Subspeciality interest in non-procedural electrophysiology, cardiac imaging, preventive cardiology, or advanced heart failure is preferred but not required. This integrated health system is at the forefront of virtual technology, as such, applicants should have experience with telehealth, digital health, or adaptability to incorporate virtual care into their practice.

This is a permanent position.

What You Can Expect:

  • Integrated, multidisciplinary team that includes; 13 general cardiologists, 4 interventional cardiologists, 3 electrophysiologists, 4 advanced heart failure and transplant cardiologists, 1 congenital heart disease cardiologist, and 10 affiliated clinicians.
  • Regional-leading STS outcomes.
  • Dedicated diagnostic interpretation time for EKG's, Echos, heart monitor reads, and stress tests.
  • Practice mix that includes 25% inpatient work .
  • 1:10 evening call with support from interventional, advance heart failure, and electrophysiology teams.
  • Active colleagues that enjoy biking, hiking, skiing and dining all within a city that is minutes away from the Columbia Gorge, Mount Hood, and the Oregon Coast.

Minimum Requirements:

  • American Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist

Salary range: $565,000- $601,100 (1.0 FTE)

Plus Lifestyle annual bonus: $38,800
