Job Purpose
The receptionist's primary duty is to greet visitors to the Writing Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
Check students in when they arrive, answer the phone, respond to voicemails, make appointments, help students make WCOnline accounts, check accuracy of appointments, monitor supplies, follow the policies of the Writing Center, and assist the tutors and GAs with special projects.
Qualifications
Prior office experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred Skills
Comfortable using basic computer software (we will train employees on specialized software), able to be friendly and professional with visitors and co-workers, organized, and dependable.
