We are looking for a talented individual to serve as a technical expert supporting residential energy efficiency programs. This role is primarily field‑based, involving on‑site inspections and community outreach to deliver HVAC and weatherization projects throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct on‑site and virtual quality assurance inspections for HVAC and weatherization projects; develop and implement QA protocols.
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert for customers, contractors, and community based organizations, reviewing scope, bids, and installations.
  • Perform home energy assessments using diagnostic tools such as blower doors, duct blasters, and flow plates, applying solid building science and residential energy efficiency knowledge.
  • Track, analyze, and report QA results using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools with strong attention to detail and documentation quality.
  • Manage and de‑escalate complex customer and contractor situations with professionalism, clear communication, and a client‑focused approach.
  • Schedule inspections directly with customers and manage a fluctuating weekly caseload of dispatched projects.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in residential trades and/or energy efficiency programs, with direct hands‑on experience inspecting HVAC and/or weatherization measures.
  • Experience with both HVAC and weatherization measures is a strong plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, travel regionally as needed, and maintain relevant certifications (Spanish proficiency a plus).

  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid vacation, sick, personal and parental leave time.
  • Paid Volunteer Time to give back to communities.
  • Employee Recognition Program – convert recognition points into gift cards.
  • Employee Assistance Program – offers benefits to help you manage daily responsibilities.
  • Access to on‑demand training courses to advance further in your career.
