About the Role

Match Retail is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Manager to lead field sales operations in support of our Nespresso client programs. Reporting to the National Field Manager, the Field Manager will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a team of Sales Associates across an assigned territory. This role plays a critical part in driving sales performance, enhancing customer experience, and ensuring operational excellence at retail. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong retail sales experience, exceptional people management skills, and a proven ability to drive results through coaching, accountability, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales performance by achieving and exceeding territory sales targets, customer satisfaction metrics, and key performance indicators.
  • Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 15–20 Team Lead and Sales Associates.
  • Create and execute weekly, monthly, and quarterly business plans to support territory growth and performance objectives.
  • Identify performance gaps and implement action plans to improve results at underperforming locations.
  • Conduct regular field visits, coaching sessions, and performance reviews to support team development.
  • Act as the primary liaison between field teams, internal departments, and client stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales performance, customer insights, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Partner with Training, Operations, Recruitment, and Client Services teams to ensure successful program execution.
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on customer experience, accountability, and brand representation.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention initiatives to build a strong and engaged field team.
  • Communicate business updates, incentive programs, and performance expectations effectively and consistently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, client standards, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in retail sales, field sales, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) environments with 1–3 years of leadership experience managing teams, multiple locations, or field operations.
  • Proven ability to coach and develop employees to achieve performance goals.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience managing KPIs, sales targets, and operational performance metrics.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40%–60% within the assigned territory, including occasional weekends.
