Job description

The Auth0 Delivery Enablement & Operations team is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the cross-functional delivery of our most strategic portfolio of work in Platform Infrastructure. We are seeking an individual with a passion for technology, infrastructure, and operational excellence.

The Senior Technical Program Manager will partner with Product and Engineering teams to implement, maintain, and optimize complex operational processes, inclusive of clarifying needs and value, securing commitment from teams across the organization, setting timelines, and facilitating ongoing delivery and execution. This role will report to the Senior Manager, Technical Program Management. 

You will:

  • Drive large-scale, complex, cross-functional programs from design through delivery.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define scope, value, and technical requirements, securing commitments across organizations.
  • Orchestrate planning, prioritization, and execution, managing the integrated program plan and timelines across disparate functions.
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, dependencies, and impediments, clearly communicating trade-offs and solutions to stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, serving as the central point of contact and providing consistent transparency into program goals, progress, and quality.
  • Energize cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious objectives and uphold world-class operational excellence and security standards.
  • Develop broad technical and domain knowledge to effectively influence strategy and decision-making.

  • 5+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a software, SaaS, or systems development environment, with a focus on cyber security.
  • Track record of collaboration in order to manage and successfully deliver large-scale technology programs.
  • Excellence in identifying and managing risks across multiple technical projects 
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams
  • Ability to clearly communicate and establish credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executive audiences.
  • Ability to influence and work through others within a matrix organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, especially in a remote environment.
  • Passion for understanding ambiguous, complex problems and driving high-quality, innovative, and robust solutions.
  • Experience with agile and other program management methodologies.
  • Strong attention to detail and focus on execution in a data-informed environment.
  • A passion for enabling teams to adopt, manage, and optimize processes and tooling. 

Education and Training:

  • Preferred degree in Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field 
  • PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • CSM, PSM or equivalent
