Role and Essential Duties

  • Instruction: Develop and implement engaging, rigorous, and personalized lesson plans for K-6 students, aligning with state standards in all core subject areas (ELA, Math, Science, Social Studies).
  • Assessment: Utilize student information systems to track data, assess student growth, and drive instructional decisions.
  • Classroom Culture: Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
  • Collaboration: Work with the grade-level team, special education staff, and administration to support individualized education plans (IEPs) and student intervention practices.
  • Communication: Maintain regular and positive communication with families regarding student progress.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university (Master's preferred).
  • Valid State Teaching Certificate with Elementary Education endorsement (K-5 or K-6).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in technology, including Google Workspace and virtual classroom platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, showing the ability to resolve concerns in a positive, proactive manner.
