Creator Content Coach - E-Commerce

Job description

KittySpout is looking for a Creator Content Coach to join our team!
What we need is someone whose entire job is making creators better, reviewing every content submission, giving detailed written and verbal feedback, running training calls, spotting trends, and actively developing creators who produce content that converts and drives GMV.
The best person for this role may be a high-performing creator themselves who has also trained others. Or someone who has spent years inside a TikTok Shop or Trybe affiliate program giving creators exactly this kind of hands-on coaching. Either way, you have proof: your own results as a creator or coach, and the creators you've made better.
If you give vague feedback, if you're not on TikTok every day, or if your idea of training creators is sending a brand deck and hoping for the best, this isn't for you.
We are looking for someone with 2+ years of hands-on experience training creators, reviewing content submissions, and giving detailed feedback inside a TikTok Shop, Trybe, or DTC creator affiliate program.
Who are we?
KittySpout is a premium DTC brand selling stainless steel cat water fountains, filters, and accessories. We sell across Shopify, Amazon, and Chewy, and we're one of the fastest-growing brands in the pet space - $22M+ in revenue and targeting $45-50M in 2026. We recently launched DoggySpout, expanding into an entirely new vertical and customer base. We're lean, we move fast, and every person on this team has a massive impact on the business.
What is our culture like & who is a good fit?
Culture-fit is our #1 factor when hiring! We have a genuine will-to-win. No work is beneath us if it moves us towards our goals. We utilize creativity to do more with less - and quickly. We use data to make decisions and live by the following three core values: work smart, overdeliver, speed is king, and better everyday. We love learning - every problem is an opportunity to grow.
If you want a stress-free corporate 9-5 job, this isn't it.
If you want to challenge yourself and shape a fast-growing company, work directly with the founders, and see huge career growth by playing a big role in scaling it to $100m+... If you want to drive results with a group of passionate, smart, hardworking people, work in an environment without politics or corporate chicanery, and play a big part in our growth being hands-on and active, all while having the opportunity to earn a performance bonus as you grow into the role - then you've come to the right place.
Key Objectives
  1. Review every creator content submission and provide detailed, specific written feedback - not "good energy, fix the hook." Actionable notes that make the creator measurably better on the next video.
  2. Run regular training calls with creators: what's converting right now, what hooks are working, what formats are performing on TikTok this week - not generic advice, live coaching based on current data.
  3. Spot trends daily and push them to creators proactively - they should be hearing content ideas from you before they ask.
  4. Manage the creator community on Discord - touchpoints, challenges, recognition, momentum. Creators stay active because of the environment you build.
  5. Track who is performing and who isn't. Prioritise your coaching time on the creators with the most upside. Flag the ones who aren't improving.
  6. Help scale the program: more creators, better content, higher GMV per creator over time.

Requirements
  • You have actively trained and coached creators on their content - reviewing submissions, giving detailed written feedback, running training calls. This is non-negotiable. If your experience is outreach, gifting, or contract management, this is not the role.
  • You have proof. Either: (a) results from a TikTok Shop, Trybe, or DTC creator affiliate program you trained creators in, or (b) your own track record as a creator with real GMV or content performance numbers. We will ask for this. If you can't give us data, stop here.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience training creators or performing as a creator inside a TikTok Shop or Trybe affiliate program, or as a high-performing DTC creator yourself
  • Deep understanding of what makes creator content convert - you can watch a video and immediately diagnose what's working and what isn't
  • Fluent in English, fully remote, timezone overlap with US/Canada where most creators are based
  • Comfortable managing a Discord community, running training calls, and reviewing submissions daily
  • No issue working overtime or on weekends when needed
  • Excellent cultural fit as per our values above

KPI's you will own
  • All creator submissions reviewed within 24 hours with detailed, actionable feedback
  • 1-2 group training calls per week with active program creators
  • Weekly content inspiration and briefs delivered to creators
  • First-round content approval rate and revenue generated from program content

Accountabilities
  • Onboard every new creator through a structured training flow within 7 days of joining the program
  • Review all creator content drafts and provide written feedback within 48 hours
  • Run monthly community calls and quarterly content challenges to drive engagement
  • Deliver weekly creator performance report to Elizabeth (Partnerships Lead) every Monday
  • Build and maintain a tagged content library updated weekly for the media buying team
  • Flag underperforming creators monthly with coaching notes and a clear keep/exit recommendation

This Role Is Not For You If
  • Your background is creator outreach, gifting, or contract management. If you have not personally reviewed creator content and given detailed coaching feedback that made creators better, this is not a fit.
  • You can't back up your experience with data - whether that's creators you trained, content volume you drove, GMV from a program, or your own results as a creator. No data means you weren't close enough to the results.
  • You're not watching TikTok every day and spotting what's working before it peaks. This role requires you to be ahead of trends, not reacting to them.
  • You give vague feedback. "Good video, maybe tighten the hook" is not feedback. If you can't tell a creator exactly what to fix, why, and what to do instead - this isn't your role.

How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate
When hiring, we'll work with you to define the KPIs you'll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you're doing a good job after you start.
Initial soft interview, then a live technical screen with a member of our team, and a final interview with our Partnerships Lead and Founder to ensure culture fit. We plan to hire within ~8-12 days of conducting these interviews. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
For this role, we will walk you through the long-term vision and opportunities that have us excited about this business - and how you fit in. We will show you our current structure and where we are headed.
Benefits
Fully remote. Flexible schedule. Fast-growing brand with real career upside -- we're scaling from $22M to $50M+ and the person in this role grows with the company.
Salary Expectation
USD $3,000 - $6,000 per month (based on experience and expertise), with the opportunity to earn a performance bonus once you've proven you can do the role well.
