Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, ensuring a comprehensive understanding that leads to accurate clinical diagnoses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, adjusting your approach based on the evolving needs and goals of clients.
• Provide crisis intervention services to clients facing acute mental health challenges, maintaining a calm and supportive presence during critical situations.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments, adhering to ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure holistic care for your clients.
• Educate clients and families on mental health issues, available resources, and treatment options, while advocating for their needs in various settings.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training and workshops to stay current with advancements in mental health therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a licensed therapist at Roseville Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will play a crucial role in supporting clients through significant life transitions and assisting them in developing coping strategies that contribute to lasting wellness.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnostic skills is essential.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for effective client interactions.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical outpatient setting is favorable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide a sign-on bonus for qualified candidates.
