Job description

The Marketing Operations Virtual Assistant provides day-to-day operational support for LaunchPad Home Group's centralized marketing department. This role serves as the administrative backbone of the marketing team, ensuring websites, local business listings, acquisitions, marketing assets, and recurring operational tasks are executed accurately and on time.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable learning multiple marketing platforms, and capable of managing dozens of concurrent projects across a portfolio of home service brands. This is an execution-focused role responsible for keeping marketing operations moving efficiently while allowing marketing specialists and leadership to focus on strategy, revenue generation, and growth initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
1. Marketing Operations & Administration
  • Coordinate day-to-day marketing requests across multiple brands.
  • Manage marketing work orders and ticket routing.
  • Maintain project trackers, Monday boards, and task assignments.
  • Coordinate timelines, owners, follow-up, and completion of recurring marketing initiatives.
  • Place orders with marketing vendors and monitor delivery.
  • Update marketing collateral, sales materials, and internal documentation.
  • Organize marketing assets, creative files, and brand documentation.
  • Maintain inventories of websites, domains, software platforms, digital assets, and marketing accounts.
  • Collect, organize, and maintain photography and video assets from regional teams for marketing use.
  • Assist with recurring reporting and administrative marketing projects.
2. Acquisition Integration Support
Support the marketing integration of newly acquired companies by coordinating administrative tasks throughout the transition process.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain acquisition integration trackers and project plans.
  • Coordinate marketing onboarding activities across departments.
  • Track vendor transitions, software migrations, cancellations, and account transfers.
  • Transfer service areas, ZIP codes, marketing assets, and digital information into LaunchPad systems.
  • Organize acquisition documentation and marketing deliverables.
  • Follow up with internal teams and external vendors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support marketing launch activities for newly acquired brands.
3. Local SEO & Business Listing Management
Manage recurring local search optimization tasks across the company's portfolio of brands.
Responsibilities include:
  • Maintain Google Business Profiles and other business listings.
  • Publish Google Posts, promotions, photos, and business updates.
  • Update business information across online directories.
  • Monitor listings for suspensions, duplicate profiles, verification issues, and policy notifications.
  • Escalate listing issues requiring technical support.
  • Monitor review response completion and quality.
  • Track local visibility and competitor activity using marketing software.
4. Website Administration
Perform ongoing website maintenance and content management across all company websites.
Responsibilities include:
  • Publish and update website content.
  • Perform large-scale content updates across multiple websites.
  • Create and maintain standard landing pages.
  • Refresh website caches and verify successful deployments.
  • Create and submit XML sitemaps.
  • Assist with search engine indexing requests.
  • Implement basic on-page SEO improvements, including:
    • Meta titles
    • Meta descriptions
    • Internal linking
    • Copy updates
    • Image optimization
  • Create and publish city and service pages using established templates.
  • Coordinate website updates with development contractors when technical work is required.
Qualifications
Required
  • 2+ years of administrative, marketing coordination, or virtual assistant experience.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong written English and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfortable working inside project management systems (Monday.com, Trello, etc.).
  • Ability to follow established processes with minimal supervision.
Preferred
  • Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience managing Google Business Profiles.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
