Job description

Position Summary:
The Physician will specialize in Internal Medicine and be responsible for providing complete clinical care for all patients under the direction of the Medical Director and abide by written protocols. The Internal Medicine Physician works in conjunction with the Medical Director in implementing and maintaining quality care programs.
Location: Travel within a reasonable commuting distance to Employer's various clinics.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • See a diverse demographic with various needs.
  • Responsible for creating a healthy relationship with patients (solely adult patients) to overcome any barriers families may have to provide the appropriate care for themselves.
  • Call patients to address any questions or call-in refills.
  • Participate in team meetings to address issues like clinic flow to improve patient care.
  • Take home calls to answer any questions or concerns after clinic hours.
  • Patient visits may either be in-person or through virtual visits/telemedicine.
  • Provide case management with other health care team members.
  • Provide consultations to other Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Medical Assistants.
  • Maintain compliance with all healthcare activities and within Friends of Family Health Centers.
