As a Virtual Design Student for Civil West in Phoenix, Arizona, you’ll have the opportunity to bring construction projects to life through 3D modeling, visualization, and digital design tools while collaborating with project teams to communicate ideas, solve challenges, and support successful project delivery.

As a  Virtual Design Student in Phoenix, Arizona, you will contribute to our team by:

Responsibilities
  • Utilize and perform 3D modeling to help our group better collaborate with districts and project teams.
  • Conduct research and development tasks to support innovation initiatives.
  • Explore, gain exposure, and help project teams with implementing cutting-edge construction technologies.
  • Learn about and spend time with other groups within PCL like scheduling, preconstruction and estimating, safety, to name a few, to understand more about how PCL operates as a function of many parts.
Qualifications
  • Incoming Junior or Senior in a 4-year or 2-year technical college, majoring in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and visual graphics tools.
  • Experience with digital technology and equipment.
  • Willingness to research, problem solve and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
