) Healthcare Leadership Development Specialist
Position Summary
The Healthcare Leadership Development Specialist designs, delivers, and evaluates leadership development programs that strengthen the capabilities of leaders across clinical and operations teams. This role supports organizational performance by building skills in communication, coaching, team effectiveness, change management, and patientcentered leadership. The specialist partners with HR, clinical education, and operational leaders to ensure programs align with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and workforce needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership Program Design - Develop competencybased leadership curricula for Administrators and Directors of Nursing.
  • Facilitation & Coaching - Deliver workshops, lead cohort programs, and provide 1:1 or group coaching to leaders.
  • Competency Framework Alignment - Map programs to organizational leadership competencies and healthcare industry standards.
  • Organizational Development Support - Partner on culture initiatives, engagement strategies, and changereadiness efforts.
  • Training Evaluation - Measure program effectiveness; track outcomes and recommend improvements.
  • Learning Technology Utilization - Manage HCA content, virtual learning tools, and digital learning assets.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Work with clinical leaders, HR business partners, and executives to identify development needs.
  • Project Management - Lead endtoend development projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met.

Required Qualifications
  • Active Illinois Registered Nurse License,
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership development, training, organizational development, or clinical education
  • Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (preferred)
  • Experience designing and facilitating adult learning programs.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical environments, and regulatory considerations.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across multiple facilities.
  • Travel between sites (for multifacility systems)
