Job Summary

The Airline Transport Pilot Program Instructor is responsible for delivering ground and simulator-based flight instruction to prepare aspiring airline pilots for Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certification. This role provides classroom instruction, advanced simulator training, student coaching, and program administration while ensuring compliance with FAA regulations and established training standards.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver simulator instruction using advanced flight simulators.
  • Conduct FAA-required Airline Transport Pilot Certification Training Program (ATP CTP) instruction.
  • Operate flight simulator equipment and facilitate realistic training scenarios.
  • Conduct pre-flight and post-flight simulator briefings.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide coaching and remediation.
  • Deliver classroom instruction on aviation regulations, aircraft systems, flight procedures, and airline operations.
  • Guide students on flight deck procedures, checklist usage, and operational concepts.
  • Utilize modern training technologies, including virtual reality learning tools.
  • Prepare lesson plans and instructional materials.
