Job Summary
The University of West Georgia is expanding to meet growing demand across its educator preparation programs. To support this growth, we are seeking limited'term instructors in Special Education who are committed to strong teaching, inclusive practices, and meaningful support for teacher candidates and educators seeking advanced degrees.
Limited'term faculty typically teach 4 courses per semester, focusing on coursework related to special education methods, ethics, applied behavior analysis, positive learning environments, and assessment. Responsibilities also include engaging in related program activities and virtual supervision. Faculty benefit from mentoring, shared course materials, and full access to institutional resources that support effective teaching and student success.
These roles often serve as pathways to longer'term opportunities, including instructor, lecturer, or tenure'track positions within the College of Education.
