Grid Networks is looking for an experienced IT Specialist to work on-site in Reston, Virginia. This role supports an office of ~50 users, local and remote, with varying levels of technical experience. Ideal applicants thrive in independent, self-directed environments and exercise initiative to promote and develop IT improvements.
What you'll do...
  • Manage corporate users, accounts, and communications (AD, LDAP, Microsoft 365, Teams, Email)
  • Onboarding, Offboarding, and support users on MacOS and Windows systems
  • Manage corporate devices through an MDM platform
  • Administer, develop, and improve reliability of corporate systems such as file shares, printers, wireless networks, VPNs, and other corporate services
  • Document and develop processes and user guides

  • At least 2 years of IT Support experience
  • Express strong communication skills, especially in explaining technical concepts at varying levels of complexity
  • Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Experience supporting Mac and Windows devices with an MDM platform
