Job description

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) is looking for a candidate with experience leading a variety of virtual and in-person training and events. In this role, you will collaborate with internal and external customers, vendors and instructors. This position is in our Marketing division. The candidate that fills this role will have the opportunity to work with customer-facing training and events. If you are looking for an opportunity that will allow you to work on a variety of training and events, work with customers from around the world, and provide excellent customer service, then this position may be for you!

As an Event Producer, a typical day might include the following:

  • Communicate with SEL's external customers provide excellent customer service, training quotes and answering communications.

  • Work with internal SEL customers to coordinate logistics for trainings including scheduling instructors, reserving equipment and communicating with a variety of cross functional teams.

  • Work with Training and Events teams to manage changing priorities and work to optimize work process and deliverables.

  • Provide reporting and analyze data in order to provide better insight of training and event options for our customers.

This job might be for you if:

  • Enjoy communicating with a variety of internal stakeholders to provide best in class training and events to meet and exceed our customers needs.

  • Enjoy balancing priorities, organizing logistics and scheduling and providing excellent communication.

  • You have at least two years experience coordinating events or project management for a high-tech company.

  • Enjoy traveling and are comfortable doing so approximately five or more times per year.
