Position Overview
The Project Engineer will oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and project managers to facilitate smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and design of construction projects
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials
- Monitor project progress and identify any potential issues
- Prepare and maintain project documentation and reports
- Work closely with contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications and timelines
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer in commercial construction
- Strong understanding of procurement processes
- Familiarity with project management software and tools
