Job description

100% Resident Assistants will supervise, mentor, and perform as positive role models for approximately 16 campers. RAs will be expected to assist campers with activities as requested by faculty and staff and encourage participation in all camp activities. RAs will collaborate with faculty, staff, and other RAs to maintain camp goals and camper safety.,Engineering Summer Camp is a week-long, intensive learning camp for high school students entering 9th through 12th grades

Campers choose from eight different engineering track options and work closely with KU faculty and graduate students as they complete a hands-on project. The camp lets students explore the different engineering disciplines and campers also get an up-close view of KU and its engineering facilities.There are two camp sessions: JULY 12-17, and JULY 19-24, 2026. Resident Assistants will assist with camp activities for both sessions during the day and in the evening (schedules are flexible)

Resident Assistants are also required to attend paid mandatory training sessions in June.
