Position Overview

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team at Diversus Mental Health & Wellness. This full-time position allows for remote work while providing essential therapy services to individuals navigating challenging life circumstances. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and couples therapy, addressing a range of emotional and psychological issues, including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship challenges.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs, strengths, and development areas, utilizing a variety of evidence-based assessment tools.
  • Develop and document personalized treatment plans that align with the specific objectives and therapeutic goals of each client.
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations and relevant state laws, maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of client information.
  • Deliver care that is culturally sensitive, fostering an inclusive environment that respects the diverse identities of all clients.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development, participating in supervision and training opportunities aimed at enhancing clinical competencies.
  • Regularly review and update case records, treatment progress, and outcomes, contributing to the overall quality assurance of services provided.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The individual in this role will primarily support clients who have experienced significant mental health challenges, substance use disorders, or complex psychological needs. You will work with a diverse clientele spanning various backgrounds, ages, and experiences, including individuals seeking support for trauma recovery and families navigating relational struggles.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee, with the ability to practice independently.
  • A compassionate, empathetic approach focused on culturally competent care, understanding, and honoring diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated experience working effectively with individuals, couples, and families in therapeutic settings, with a solid grasp of evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, complemented by strong interpersonal skills that enable effective teamwork and individual work.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably dealing with substance use and detoxification scenarios.
  • Familiarity with digital health tools and telehealth platforms that enhance remote therapy delivery.
  • Experience in providing culturally informed therapy that accepts and understands variations in client backgrounds.
Compensation and Benefits
